COMMUNIQUÉ AVIANZA II GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF ASSOCIATES
Madrid, 01 July 2022.- Following the holding of the 2nd General Assembly of Associates of the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat (Avianza), on Tuesday 28 June 2022, we would like to inform the public of some of the main conclusions reached, following an in-depth analysis of the current situation our sector is going through, as well as the serious and pressing problems that affect it. Avianza represents almost all the companies in the poultry sector, approximately 90%.
AVIANZA shows its commitment to Spanish consumers and calls for responsibility from all those involved in the food chain.
22 June 2022. Avianza, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, which represents 90% of the production of chicken, turkey and quail meat in our country, considers it necessary to appeal to the responsibility of the entire food chain to convey confidence to Spanish consumers at a time, once again, of maximum tension in the market.
AVIANZA AND HARD ROCK HOTEL MADRIR UNITE FOR THANKSGIVING
19 November 2021. AVIANZA, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, joins Hard Rock Hotel Madrid to celebrate in our country one of the most iconic and international dates in the United States: Thanksgiving Day.
For three days, 23, 24 and 25 November, the flagship restaurant of the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid, Sessionswill celebrate Thanksgiving dinner with a special menu featuring, among other delicacies, the classic roast turkey cooked by renowned chef Juan Hely Pérez.
MICOALGA-FEED: REDUCTION OF ANTIBIOTICS IN LIVESTOCK THROUGH A NATURAL FEED BASED ON THE USE OF FUNGI AND ALGAE
United to collaborate on an exciting project
MICOALGA-FEED is a supra-autonomic Operational Group whose aim is to reduce or eliminate the use of antibiotics in livestock farming through a natural feed based on fungi and algae.
AVIANZA LAUNCHES THE #MEGUSTAPOULTRY CAMPAIGN IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
10 November 2021. The United Arab Emirates is having a more Spanish flavour than ever this last quarter thanks to the #MEgustaPoultry campaign launched by AVIANZA, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, in collaboration with ICEX Spain Export and Investment, to give visibility and promote poultry meat in the Middle East, one of the priority markets of its internationalisation plan.
THE SPANISH LIVESTOCK-MEAT SECTOR WILL REDUCE ITS GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS BY 30%.
5 November 2021. The sector is involved in investments of €600 million in livestock production and €542 million in industries to move towards environmental neutrality and meeting the Sustainable Development Goals.
COMMODITY AND ELECTRICITY PRICE CRISIS
18 October 2021. Raw material prices have shot up, while electricity costs have increased 6-fold in just one year. This is affecting the poultry sector.

11 October 2021. Call for tenders for the selection of a promotion agency for the development of a multiannual programme REA EU 1144/2014 for the promotion of poultry.
NEXT GENERATION FUNDS: MEAT SECTOR DRIVES GREEN AND DIGITAL ECONOMY
16 February 2021. The meat sector in Spain, including the poultry industry, will promote a 3.5 billion project to accelerate the green and digital economy in our country, within the framework of the European Union's Next Generation funds.
THE CATALAN POULTRY FEDERATION JOINS AVIANZA
22 January 2021. The Federació Avícola Catalana (FAC) has become a new member of AVIANZA, an interprofessional organisation that represents 95% of the poultry industry in our country. The Federació Avícola Catalana is made up of more than 300 associated companies in Catalonia, one of the most powerful markets in the chicken, turkey and other poultry segment.
AVIANZA CHALLENGE 2020: WE ENCOURAGE THE CONSUMPTION OF POULTRY MEAT IN DELIVERIES
17 December 2020. AVIANZA, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, has launched Avianza Challenge 2020, an initiative that aims to raise awareness of the most popular varieties of poultry in our country for the preparation of original dishes this Christmas, including poulard, poussin, capon, turkey and quail.
THE INTERPROFESSIONAL "PROPOLLO" CHANGES ITS BRAND NAME TO THE NEW "AVIANZA".
MADRID, 10 December 2020. AVIANZA will be from now on the new brand of the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, a name that has also been requested to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food to expand its functional scope.
PROPOLLO AND AMACO APPROVE STATE AGREEMENT FOR POULTRY AND RABBIT SLAUGHTERHOUSES
Madrid, 26th November 2020. From PROPOLLO, together with AMACO, we announce the approval of the State Agreement for Poultry and Rabbit Slaughterhouses, signed with the representatives of the trade unions UGT-FICA and CCOO Industry.

PRE-AGREEMENT STATE AGREEMENT FOR POULTRY FARMS AND OTHER ANIMALS

From the Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat Poultry Farming / Propollo (propollo.es) we value very positively the pre-agreement reached with union representatives and our organisation, which we hope will conclude with the final signing of the State Agreement for Poultry Farms.

ICEX AND PROPOLLO JOIN FORCES TO BOOST POULTRY MEAT EXPORTS ON INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
MADRID, 5 October 2020. ICEX Spain Export and Investment and Propollo (www.propollo.es), the Interprofessional Association of Poultry Farming, have signed an agreement for the implementation of initiatives to disseminate, train and promote poultry products abroad.
