AVIANZA BETS ON KM.0 IN THE SECOND EDITION OF ITS EPHEMERAL RESTAURANT AT THE GOURMETS SHOW
April 19, 2023. The 36th edition of the Salón Gourmets has once again had an ephemeral restaurant dedicated exclusively to Spanish poultry meat within its walls. Avianza, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, and after the success of the 2022 edition, wanted to highlight the poultry sector once again by opening the Avianza Ephemeral Restaurantat the Ministry's stand. On this occasion, the interprofessional has focused on the proximity product.
ASAJA, COAG, UPA AND AVIANZA PROMOTE THE EXECUTIVE INTEGRATION COMMITTEE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CONDITIONS OF THE POULTRY MEAT PRODUCTION SECTOR IN SPAIN
April 17, 2023. The representatives of the main national agricultural and livestock organizations, ASAJA, COAG and UPA, and AVIANZA, the majority association of the Spanish poultry meat sector, which groups more than 65 associated companies and represents more than 90% of the companies linked to the chicken, turkey and quail meat sector, have officially constituted the Integration Executive Committee.
AVIANZA REPRESENTS THE POULTRY SECTOR AT MEAT ATTRACTION 2023
March 6, 2023.- Today Meat Attraction, the international meat sector fair that during these three days, from March 6 to 8, will turn Madrid into the meeting point of the main national and international actors of the sector, has started. Avianza, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, wanted to be present representing the Spanish poultry meat sector.
AVIANZA PREPARES ITS PARTICIPATION IN MEAT ATTRACTION 2023
Madrid, March 1, 2023 - For three days, from March 6 to 8, Madrid will become the meeting point for the main national and international players in the meat sector, at the Meat Attraction fair, where Avianza will be present representing the Spanish poultry meat sector. The association will have a stand, EL 4B13, where it will offer relevant information about the latest developments in this sector.
AVIANZA PARTICIPATES IN GULFOOD DUBAI, THE LARGEST AGRI-FOOD FAIR IN THE MIDDLE EAST.
Today opened its doors Gulfood Dubai 2023 , the largest fair in the Middle East dedicated to the food and beverage industry, and Avianza, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, is present with an information stand by the hand of ICEX, as part of its internationalization plan.
JOSEP SOLÉ, ELECTED NEW PRESIDENT OF AVIANZA
January 26, 2023. The Board of Directors of the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat (Avianza) has unanimously elected Josep Solé as the new president. Solé replaces Antonio Sánchez, president of Avianza since 2019, in the position.
AVIANZA GUARANTEES WAGE INCREASE IN THE COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT FOR POULTRY AND RABBIT SLAUGHTERHOUSES
January 25, 2023. AVIANZA, Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, has taken the decision to anticipate the wage increase for the year 2023 to workers under the Collective Agreement of Poultry and Rabbit Slaughterhouses.
This measure has been approved jointly with AMPE, the Spanish Association of Chicken Slaughterhouses, and AMACO, the National Association of Poultry, Rabbit and Poultry Cutting Plant Processors, associations actively linked to AVIANZA.
THE MUNICIPAL LIVESTOCK AND MEAT NETWORK HOLDS ITS FIRST MEETING OF MAYORS AND CITY COUNCILORS
January 25, 2023. The Red Municipal Ganadero-Cárnica has held in Madrid the first meeting of mayors and councilors of its member municipalities, which was attended by some twenty people from municipalities such as Alcarràs (Lleida), Alerre and Binéfar (Huesca), Cabezuela and Cantimpalos (Segovia), El Viso (Córdoba), Lleida, Tarancón (Cuenca) and Totana (Murcia).
AVIANZA PROMOTES SUSTAINABLE EUROPEAN POULTRY MEAT TO SPANISH UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Madrid, January 10, 2023. The promotion of sustainable European poultry meat is spreading to the most prestigious faculties in Spain, where students of veterinary medicine, agri-food engineering and food science and nutrition are participating in seminars specially designed for them.

AVIANZA SHOWCASES THE BENEFITS AND POSSIBILITIES OF TURKEY MEAT AT THANKSGIVING WORKSHOP
November 24, 2022.- Avianza, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, and the Ministry of Agriculture. Fisheries and Food (MAPA), wanted to join the traditional celebration of Thanksgiving Day, where the turkey is the main protagonist. For this, they have counted on chef Damián González, right hand of the Torres Brothers, to carry out an informative workshop on turkey meat in the prestigious restaurant Dos Cielos (Hotel Palacio de los Duques Gran Meliá).
THE FIRST SUSTAINABLE EUROPEAN POULTRY MEAT PROMOTION CAMPAIGN SUPPORTED BY THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION GETS UNDERWAY
The European poultry meat promotion campaign focused on sustainability, the first of its kind to be launched in our country, has been launched. The initiative has been made possible thanks to the cooperation of the national poultry associations of Germany, France and Spain, and their umbrella association, AVEC (the European Poultry Association), which is based in Belgium. The campaign is also supported by the European Research Executive Agency (REA) of the European Commission.
AVIANZA shows its commitment to Spanish consumers and calls for responsibility from all those involved in the food chain.
22 June 2022. Avianza, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, which represents 90% of the production of chicken, turkey and quail meat in our country, considers it necessary to appeal to the responsibility of the entire food chain to convey confidence to Spanish consumers at a time, once again, of maximum tension in the market.

Madrid, 01 July 2022.- Following the holding of the 2nd General Assembly of Associates of the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat (Avianza), on Tuesday 28 June 2022, we would like to inform the public of some of the main conclusions reached, following an in-depth analysis of the current situation our sector is going through, as well as the serious and pressing problems that affect it. Avianza represents almost all the companies in the poultry sector, approximately 90%.

MICOALGA-FEED: REDUCTION OF ANTIBIOTICS IN LIVESTOCK THROUGH A NATURAL FEED BASED ON THE USE OF FUNGI AND ALGAE

AVIANZA LAUNCHES THE #MEGUSTAPOULTRY CAMPAIGN IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

The United Arab Emirates is having a more Spanish flavour than ever this last quarter thanks to the #MEgustaPoultry campaign launched by AVIANZA, the Spanish Interprofessional Association of Poultry Meat, in collaboration with ICEX Spain Export and Investment, to give visibility and promote poultry meat in the Middle East, one of the priority markets of its internationalisation plan.

NEXT GENERATION FUNDS: MEAT SECTOR DRIVES GREEN AND DIGITAL ECONOMY
16 February 2021. The meat sector in Spain, including the poultry industry, will promote a 3.5 billion project to accelerate the green and digital economy in our country, within the framework of the European Union's Next Generation funds.
THE CATALAN POULTRY FEDERATION JOINS AVIANZA
22 January 2021. The Federació Avícola Catalana (FAC) has become a new member of AVIANZA, an interprofessional organisation that represents 95% of the poultry industry in our country. The Federació Avícola Catalana is made up of more than 300 associated companies in Catalonia, one of the most powerful markets in the chicken, turkey and other poultry segment.
AVIANZA CHALLENGE 2020: WE ENCOURAGE THE CONSUMPTION OF POULTRY MEAT IN DELIVERIES

PROPOLLO AND AMACO APPROVE STATE AGREEMENT FOR POULTRY AND RABBIT SLAUGHTERHOUSES
